Day 4132: Maincha Cover by Ojaswi and Oneek
These two annoy each other - teach, tease and challenge each other, fight with each other, and they support and love each other - but this is the first time they collaborated to compliment each other. Ojaswi tries to sing a cover version of ‘Maincha’ by Ujan Shakya and Oneek supports her with his beautiful rendition on piano.
We love these two equally and to be at the front row to witness these heart warming performances is truly a bliss.
I hope you enjoy this as much as we did.
Big thank you to Madan Renn Maddy and Stanwell Studio for recording this song and @shria for recording the video.

Day 4117: Ajhai Ali (Still a Bit) - the eternal temptation
There’s always been that itch—just a little bit more. A bit more love, a bit more success, a bit more wealth, a bit more time. I’m sure it’s not only me who is wired to chase that "ajhai ali"—that extra sliver of happiness, even when we have plenty -it must be universal.
And that’s exactly what Bhakta Band’s latest song, ‘Ajhai Ali’, is all about. Our eighth original track was released last year, this ballad tugs at the universal longing for ‘still a bit more’. The music video, a visual feast directed by the amazing Shria and captured beautifully by Nishant, paints a picture of joy, color, and passion. But what it doesn’t show is the real ‘chaos’ behind the scenes—the unpredictable weather throwing tantrums, our late-night bursts of uncontrollable laughter, the camaraderie that held us together, and those little ‘disasters’ that somehow turned into the best memories.
I believe, Bhakta Band isn’t just a group of musicians—it’s a ‘movement’. In a world where most Nepali bands in the UK lean towards covers, we are possibly the first to stubbornly (and proudly) stick to originals. And honestly? That’s something to celebrate.
Here’s to making more music, more memories, and to always wanting ‘Ajhai Ali’ more.
Rock on!
